Future Exhibitions at V&A…

After a long, long break without blogging (I told you I went back to college) here I am again! I missed my blog so much but it’s been a tough year, I’ve just finished a Foundation course in fashion design that took up all my time but at the same time it’s been an amazing time in which I learnt so many things and met really interesting people like my teacher Catriona, she’s been such an inspiration to me!

I am taking advantage of my spare time to do things I missed while studying like reading, going shopping, strolling around Richmond with my husband on weekends, visiting museums and some exhibitions or going on Fridays to Portobello market(it’s the best time to go if you don’t like crowded places).I better do now all those things since in September I’m going to start a BA in fashion design that will keep me again very busy so now it’s time to just enjoy!

Let’s now comeback to business and talk about what’s on at V&A museum in the next coming months which is really the title of today’s post. There will be two major exhibitions: Horst: Photographer of Style and Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty.

  • Horst: Photographer of Style from 6 September- 4 January 2015. The exhibition will display Horst’s best known photographs alongside unpublished and rarely exhibited vintage prints as the V&A web points out. I wrote a post long time ago about Horst, click here if you want to read it.
